Understanding the Client’s Challenges and Pain Points

We were tasked with delivering simplification, standardisation, and business mobility through implementing a full suite of SAP S/4 HANA, Fiori, Mobile Apps, BPC, and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

When we first began working with this defence company, they faced significant challenges with their existing IT landscape. Their disparate and outdated systems made it difficult for them to efficiently manage their operations and stay competitive in the industry. Recognising the need for change, the company reached out to Boss Consulting to help turn things around.

Developing a Flexible and Scalable Solution for the Client’s Needs.

Our team immediately got to work, establishing a clear governance and programme structure, and implementing robust commercial management and short-interval controls. These measures helped to ensure that the project remained on track and that all objectives were met. As a result, we successfully implemented the first phase of the programme within just six months.

Following the initial implementation, our team also managed an S4/HANA upgrade and two further deployments, which enabled further business process standardisation, resource planning, and reporting through the harmonised IT landscape. This helped the company streamline its operations and improve efficiency, allowing them to compete in the highly competitive defence industry.

In addition to the technical implementation, our team also lead a vendor selection process. This process culminated in a transition to a new systems integrator post the initial release, which enabled better planning and a more positive business case. This decision was approved by the Board, further demonstrating the strong leadership and governance established by our team.

Through our efforts, we delivered on our objective of simplification, standardisation, and business mobility for the defence company. The implementation of SAP S/4 HANA, Fiori, Mobile Apps, BPC, and Microsoft Dynamics CRM, combined with strong governance and commercial management, allowed the company to improve efficiency and stay ahead in the competitive defence industry.
